Elasticize Your Soles: Acrobats of God
Normally the thought of elastic bands wrapped around our feet might not exactly excite our sense of style. But Acrobats of Godstrappy Italian heels will convince you otherwise.
These funky shoes are designed by Texas-born Nicole Brundage whose background includes an artistic heritage (her grandfather was a famous sculptor in Mexico and her uncle is a well-known New York art dealer) as well as experience with renowned fashion designers such as Giorgio Armani and Manolo Blahnik.
She launched the brand Acrobats of God last year as a way to express the extraordinary in the everyday; these are more than your everyday shoes, they are works of art.
Fun and stylish and available in wonderful summery colors as well as fall hues such as taupe, yellow, and chocolate, the heels are made from raw wood in four heights for the summer and two heights for the fall. These are some of the hippest creations yet to be made from simple elastic bands; it will be hard to resist trying on a pair.
